Who We Are
Kelaro Lounge is a sole proprietorship based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, operating online as Kelarolounge. We are a small, independent seed shop that packs and posts flower seeds, seed packets and simple growing kits to home gardeners right across India. There is no showroom and no middleman — just a focused catalogue, honest labels and orders shipped with care from our base in Chennai.
How We Started
We started Kelaro Lounge out of a frustration many Indian gardeners share: seed packets that arrive vaguely labelled, priced unfairly, or with no hint about the right season or sowing depth. We wanted a place where a first-time grower could buy a packet of marigold, zinnia or cosmos seeds and actually know what they were getting — the variety, the approximate sowing window and how to look after it — at a fair price in rupees. That simple idea became this store.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make growing flowers from seed feel approachable and honest. We choose varieties suited to Indian gardens, balconies and terraces, describe them in plain language, and price them so that trying something new never feels like a gamble. Seeds are living things and results depend on soil, weather and care, so we never promise a guaranteed bloom — instead we give you clear, truthful information and packets that are stored and handled properly.
What We Care About
We care about honest labelling above everything else: the variety, what the packet contains and simple sowing notes are written to help you, not to oversell. We care about fair pricing in INR, about packing seeds so they reach you in good condition, and about answering questions from real gardeners without scripts. Because seeds are a natural, living product, germination can vary with conditions — so we focus on quality and clarity rather than on guarantees we cannot honestly make.
An Online-Only Store
Kelarolounge operates entirely online. We do not run a physical shop or counter; every order is placed here on the website and dispatched from Chennai to addresses across India. Keeping things online lets us hold our costs down, keep prices fair, and spend our time on the catalogue and on helping you rather than on a storefront.
